The SANBlaze SB PMC-FC4 PMC 4Gb Fibre Channel Adapter provides two 4Gb/s Fibre Channel connections in a PMC adapter form factor. The high performance, low latency SB-PMC-FC4 provides embedded system access to the storage industry’s latest technology, using VME and Compact PCI standards. Ideal for Storage area network (SAN) deployments, the SB-PMC-FC4 automatically detects deployment environment whether connected to a fibre channel switch, or to just a bunch of disks (JBOD). The Dual channel PMC-FC4 adapter performs auto-speed negotiation, and can independently operate each port at 4 Gb/s or 1, 2 Gb/s for full backward compatibility with existing equipment. The SB-PMC-FC4 also supports both PCI-X and PCI hosts, and will automatically negotiate bus speeds up to 133MHz. The SB-PMC-FC4 front panel includes two SFP ports. Two LEDs provide visual status of port activity and link state.
